What are the membership types offered by Greater McAllen Association of Realtors?

Primary Membership

Primary Membership is perfect for those who pay their local, state, and national dues through GMAR. New members will need to complete an orientation program to get familiar with the association’s policies, procedures, and benefits.

Secondary Membership

Secondary Membership is great for those who pay state or national dues through another association. To qualify, you’ll need a Letter of Good Standing from your primary association. And if you’ve already completed orientation in Florida, you can skip it here.

Transferring Membership

Transferring Membership is the way to go if you’ve paid your state or national dues through another association and want to make GMAR your primary membership. Just like with Secondary Membership, you’ll need a Letter of Good Standing, and if you’ve done orientation in Florida, you’re all set.

Reinstating Membership

If you’re a former GMAR member who’s been inactive for less than 18 months, Reinstating Membership is for you. You can reinstate your membership without having to go through orientation again.

Appraiser Membership

Appraiser Membership is available for Certified General or Residential Appraisers. Keep in mind that if you also have an active real estate license, the real estate membership requirements come first.

Affiliate Membership

Affiliate Membership is perfect for professionals who support the REALTOR® community through educational events, forums, and charitable activities that make the Emerald Coast community even better. This includes mortgage professionals, home inspectors, title companies, and other industry partners.
