What are the membership types offered by Grand County Association of Realtors MLS?

Primary REALTORS®

Primary REALTORS® consider GCAR their primary Association of REALTORS®. They pay local, state, and national dues through GCAR and gain access to the MLS and the SentriLock lockbox system (optional).

Secondary REALTOR® Members

Secondary REALTOR® members receive the same rights and privileges as Primary REALTORS®, but their primary REALTOR® Membership is with another REALTOR® Association. Secondary REALTOR® membership does NOT automatically include MLS access. Managing/Employing Brokers who have at least one Primary REALTOR® with GCAR must join as a Secondary REALTOR®.

MLS Only Participant/Subscribers

REALTORS® who belong to another Association of REALTORS® as a Primary and only want to participate in the Grand County REALTORS® MLS. The office and employing/managing broker must be established with the MLS.

Affiliate Business Partners

Professional services and businesses that provide services to REALTORS® or their clients. They often join GCAR to access REALTORS® through sponsorships, education, and events. Appraisers can gain access to the MLS through Affiliate Membership.

Unlicensed Assistant/Admin

Eligible for membership to aid existing GCAR MLS Subscribers and need access to the MLS to assist. Licensed assistants and/or transaction coordinators must be a REALTOR® and should only apply for MLS Only Subscriber membership.
