What are the membership types offered by Greater Louisville Association of Realtors?

REALTOR® Member

To join as a REALTOR® Member, individuals must be licensed by the Kentucky Real Estate Commission (KREC) or certified by an appropriate state regulatory agency to engage in real estate appraisal. REALTOR® members agree to abide by the strict Code of Ethics and are required to complete a New Member Orientation within 60 days of submitting their application, as well as complete a NAR-approved Code of Ethics course every 3 years.

Designated REALTOR®

Designated REALTORS® must hold a current Broker license and be the sole proprietor, partner, corporate officer, or trustee. They are responsible for the actions of other members in their office and must enforce the Code of Ethics. Designated REALTORS® have the same orientation and ethics course requirements as REALTOR® members.

MLS/MSI Access Only

This membership is for REALTOR® members of another Association or Board who wish to participate in the Greater Louisville Association of REALTORS® Multiple Listing Service. Through this service, members can search for and list homes within GLAR’s jurisdiction.

Non-Member Licensee MSI/MLS Access

Non-Member MSI/MLS access is available for those who require access to the MLS/MSI services but are not REALTOR® members.

Administrative Access (Super Users & Admins)

Brokers can submit applications for administrative access for unlicensed assistants and agents. Administrators have the ability to add/edit information for the entire office, load listings, and make changes to all agents in the office, while Super Users have their own login credentials with access mirroring the primary user they are assigned to.

Affiliate Membership (Non-REALTOR)

Individuals or businesses with an interest in real estate and whose objectives align with the Association can become Affiliate Members. Affiliate Members can advertise with the Association, attend and sponsor REALTOR® events, post information at the Association office, and network with over 5,000 potential clients.
