What are the membership types offered by Knoxville Area Association of Realtors?

Realtor®

A Realtor® is a licensed broker, salesperson, or appraiser who is associated with a Principal Broker. To obtain this membership, individuals must acquire a real estate license and be associated with a Principal Broker.

Principal Broker/Designated REALTOR®

A Principal Broker/Designated REALTOR® is a licensed broker or appraiser who is the sole proprietor, partner, corporate officer, or branch office manager acting on behalf of the firm’s principals. This membership requires the individual to manage or own a real estate firm or office.

Affiliate

An Affiliate member is an individual associated with a related field, such as a title or mortgage company, or any company that provides products or services to the real estate industry. For Pest Control or Home Inspector membership with a Supra E-Key, a special application via email is required.

MLS Administrative Assistant

An MLS Administrative Assistant is an unlicensed administrative assistant for an agent or firm that requires access to the MLS. To obtain this membership, individuals must complete an application form for MLS access.

Commercial MLS

The Commercial MLS membership is for members who already subscribe to the Residential MLS and require access to the Commercial MLS. The Principal Broker must already subscribe or be willing to subscribe to the Commercial MLS for the member to be eligible.
