What are the membership types offered by Rockford Area Association of Realtors?

Primary Membership

This membership type is for individuals who choose RAAR as their primary association and pay Local, State, and National dues through RAAR. It provides membership with both the MLS and the Association.

Secondary Membership

Secondary membership is for individuals who have primary membership in another Association within Illinois and want to maintain secondary membership with RAAR. Members pay only Local dues to RAAR, as State and National dues are covered by their primary association. It provides membership with both the MLS and the Association.

MLS Only Membership

MLS Only membership is for individuals who have and maintain primary membership in another Realtor Association. It provides access to the MLS only, not the Association. Members don’t have voting rights, can’t join Association Committees, and pay non-member rates for any Association functions.

MLS of Choice

Not all office members must join RAAR. Those opting out of membership need to be placed On Waiver. To qualify for On Waiver status, members must maintain membership in a different MLS and provide a letter of good standing from their primary MLS Association.
