What are the membership types offered by Santa Barbara Multiple Listing Service?

Broker of Record

Reserved for Licensed Officers and Designated Brokers, this membership includes automatic membership in the California Association of REALTORS® and the National Association of REALTORS®, along with access to a wide range of resources and benefits. Brokers are responsible for the dues of non-member salespersons in their office.

Salesperson/Broker Associate

Salespersons or Broker Associates under a member Broker can access the same benefits as Brokers, including the use of the “REALTOR®” designation, access to legal advice, education courses, and networking opportunities. This membership does not include FlexMLS participation or SentriLock key access.

Affiliate

Designed for individuals from real estate-affiliated enterprises, Affiliate members enjoy networking opportunities, discounted education courses, and access to the SBAOR library. They have limited MLS access and restricted voting rights, and cannot hold leadership roles in certain committees.

Associate Affiliate

Additional members under an existing Affiliate member can access the same benefits as Affiliate members. This membership requires an initial Affiliate membership and is individual-based.

Appraiser

Appraisers gain access to MLS rules and regulations, bulk email, marketing information, off-market listings, tax records, and more. This membership does not include REALTOR® or SentriLock key access.
